  • Kayaking in calm and scenic Lake Rotorangi - for guests staying in the Chalets or B&B in the Lodge.

 

  • A leisurely boat cruise is included when staying two or more nights in a Chalet

 

  • Spa pool available to guests staying in Chalets - privately located under the cedars

  • Croquet or petanque and badminton on the croquet lawn

  • Bush walks - take a 5 minute downhill stroll to the lake through the redwoods

  • Hiking over our farmland - see all the sustainable plantings of exotic and natives along our streams 

  • Beautifully manicured gardens - 2 acres of stunning lawns, shrubs and trees which are home to many birds including, wood pigeons and tuis

  • Farm animals - feed Mini the kunekune pig, visit the young dairy and beef cows and the exotic Arapawa sheep. Meet Roger the Bengal cat with attitude at the Lodge

  • Pool table and stereo in the Games Room for guests staying in the Chalets and for B&B guests in the Lodge we have a piano, stereo, 42" plasma TV, movies and more

  • Extensive selection of recent DVD's - for use in your Chalet

  • Satellite broadband and telephone in the Games Room (there is limited cell phone coverage)

 

We can arrange for you

  • A leisurely Boat cruise on the historic "Piwakawaka" - this is included if you stay 2 nights in a Chalet 

  • Clay shooting - $150 / 2 persons plus $30 extra persons

  • Night shooting - spotlighting for pesky possums and rabbits - $150 pp / max 2.  A   calm evening is best - please ask about this when you check in.

  • Wakeboarding and Waterskiing - bring your own boat and we'll launch it from our own boatramp and you'll experience the best New Zealand has on offer
